Black Fish - A Tlingit Legend

Black Fish is one of the most well-known Tlingit tales. Passed on through centuries of oral storytelling, Black Fish centers around Natsilane, the heroic carver and hunter. Black Fish is a symbolic story of nature, Karma and kinship. The project was created to explore an intuitive environment with no direct navigation. The viewer would be immersed into a multi-dimensional parallax scroll environment with active informational content. At specific locations, content becomes active to reveal information, diving deeper into the storyline and culture of the Tlingit First Nations Peoples of the Pacific Northwest.
